These heads were originally sculpted based on rope art created by AKA Sapphic Perv . They were then made into a mold, cast in resin, painted with gouache and then Line ties the tiny ropes. The earring hooks are stainless steel.
Line is a kink-focused artist based in Chicago who has cultivated a rope practice over the past three years, emphasizing queer intimacy and sensual connection. Their work has traditionally been experience based and ephemeral, but they are now evolving their practice.
